One of my favourite art mediums has to be the classic sketch book and to see such stunning illustrations come from pencil to paper takes me back to when I was doing art & design in school. Copying illustrations from comics and magazines was one of the ways I would practise and I can say that I was no way as talented as this handful of artists.

Some really impressive art. I am a little partial to Venom, but even so, the roughness and violent nature of that depiction is fantastic, it is my favorite. Props to Cinar for that one, and all of his other ones. I also really like the sharpness and detailed illustration of Lady Mechanika by Joe Benitez.
Venom has got to be a standout from this list, for my my favourite which stands out the most is fairchild!
