Studio Ghibli is one of Japan’s most pristine animation studios which was founded by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. Creating stunning visuals and character design Studio Ghibli using free hand and digital paint.
Hayao Miyazaki is quoted to say “hand drawing on paper is the fundamental of animation” and decided not to use CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) for most of the famous title “Princess Mononoke”, but was forced to due to meeting strict deadlines.I have always been a huge fan of traditional art involving no computer assistance and Hayao Miyazaki thought the same with shutting down operations of their computer animation department before the production of “Ponyo”
Today I will take you back to 1985 to present, showcasing work from the major Studio Ghibli releases which will take most us back to our childhood! Also please let us know which your favourite film was in the comments below!

Can you spot the hidden character in the above, taken from another Studio Ghibli title?

There are people that are very old in the creative business and the reasons for that is the success that they can get. Furthermore people have also invested in the certifications such as the HP0-J40 and other Microsoft certifications which have been in market for a long time, such as the 70-653 certification and the only thing that has been making sure that the people can pass their examinations in a troublefree environment are the dumps, the 642-446 dumps for example are of top quality and give you all the necessery answers.

Relating to character design, you can see several similarities in each film which is something I believe works well, as you see familiar faces appear in other films. If you enjoyed this trip down inspiration lane, I can continue with this series showcasing work from other well known animation studios.
Final thought, what are your opinions on hand drawn animation opposed to CGI?
Daniel, did you forgot about Spirited Away? :/
I didn’t want to showcase all, or I would be still working on the showcase till tomorrow as all films are great! Missed Kiki’s Delivery Service to!
I agree, you just have to have Spirited Away!
Spirited Away added!
On traditional animation vs. CGI…
Story first, everything else is just dressings. Studio Ghibli and Pixar Animation Studios are 2 of the only studios that have batted a thousand in terms of successful films; and both houses, though completely different in medium, follow that one simple rule. Story is key above all else. After all, regardless of if a story is told in traditional animation or CGI, everything begins with pencil and paper.
“Princess Mononoke” or “Spirited Away” are our favourite cartoon movies. Nice story, very nice style of animation, pictures. We (me and my son :-)) are going to watch also Ponyo. We look forward to it.
